This is necklace uses remnants of leather pieces I have acquired. They are raw edged with notable pencil marks from someone else’s project. I have pieced things together with telephone wire and have added a few beads for interest. The pendant is 10.5cm x 10cm and it hangs 47cm long.
In my head these days I have been thinking about all our divisiveness over race, gender, Covid, freedom of rights.
Using leather connects me to animal/human and I use the the telephone wire to as the connector. Imaging a day when when can communicate freely and be heard and loved, together. ❤️
